School Nurse

Jenniffer R. Lanterman, RN, EMT-P
Wilbur Middle School – School Nurse
504 Manager – 6th Grade and Health Related
Office: 316-973-1089
Fax: 316-973-1090

The health room is located in room 202. Our school
nurse is here daily. If for any reason, she is not in her
office and you are ill or injured, come to the main office
where the staff will administer first aid if necessary and/or
call your parents. Always get a pass from your teacher
before going to the nurse’s office.
If you are on a medical plan or have medicine, you are
required to take, bring all medicines, the plan, or
directions to the nurse or to the office.
NEVER leave the building during school hours without
signing out in the attendance office. After someone has
called your parents, your parents/guardians must
personally check you out through the office.

FROM THE NURSE

9-9-24

October 22nd will be this year’s Immunization Exclusion Day. If your student needs immunizations emails have been sent out and the letters will be sent out this coming week so be looking for them in the mail.

There has also been a change to the COVID/Flu/Illness protocols. If a student has tested positive for COVID/FLU or has been kept home due to fever (100.4 or higher), the student may return to school after being fever free for 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medications and they feel well enough to return to school.
